Invisible form compatible with Black Blade Armor and Kreps Vial fixed

🎭Problem description

There is a priority system for visual effects in Elden's Circle, and the silent footsteps effect accidentally overrides the visual camouflage effect. This means that when you are wearing Black Blade Armor or wearing the Kreps Vial Amulet, your character will not show transparency even if you cast the Incorporeal Form spell. Both buffs are actually working, it's just a cosmetic issue.

🔧 Repair solution

By adjusting the visual effect priority, both effects can be displayed at the same time:

**Use the Yapped tool to modify the following parameters:**

  • The playback priority of 6018010 in SpEffectVfxParam was changed from 0 to 12 (Black Blade Armor silent visual effect)
  • Playback priority of 360000 in SpEffectVfxParam changed from 0 to 12 (Kreps vial mute visual effect)

**Or** directly download and use the attached csv file (modified based on version 1.04)

⚠️ Notes

  • The author will not provide new csv files for future updates, but the modification method is explained here
  • These priority adjustments may affect other visual effects, there are hundreds of them in the game
  • If necessary, you can try different values until an official fix is released
  • At least now you know where to make adjustments 😄

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
