🎮 **My personal HUD interface optimization plan**
Source of inspiration
This mod is inspired by the following excellent works:
- Minimalistic HUD by dashimod
- Minimal HUD (Customizable) by Dziggy
- My HUD Tweaks for Minimal HUD with Compact HUD by messiahgov
✨ Features
Personalized adjustments based on My HUD Tweaks Mod bring the following interface optimizations:
**Interface elements re-layout:**
- 📍 Item/spell slot moved to the upper right corner of the screen
- 🧭The compass moves to the upper right corner of the screen
- 🗺️ Location notification moved to the center of the screen
- 💀 Boss health bar moved to the bottom of the screen
**Simplified interface elements:**
- 🚫 Removed item/spell name text (war ashes still visible)
- 🚫 Remove Soul Ash notification
- 🚫 Remove auto save icon
- 🚫 Removed rune counter
- ⚙️ Adjust the position of some elements to avoid overlapping
📥 Installation Guide
Install using Mod Engine 2:
- Place the menu folder into the mod folder
- Start the game to enjoy the optimized HUD interface
**OPTIONAL FUNCTION RESTORATION:**
To retain the autosave icon and rune counter, delete the following files:
- `01_002_fe_saveicon.gfx`
- `01_001_fe_soul.gfx`
---
🎯 **Using experience**
This HUD adjustment makes the game interface more concise and refreshing, and important information is clear at a glance, providing a more immersive visual experience for your trip to the Elden Ring!
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
