Hound Knight Armor Set Recolored Version

🎨 **Two beautifully recolored versions for you to choose from! **

✨ Features

  • **Silver and white color** - Elegant silver and white color, showing the noble temperament of the knight
  • **Gold Color** - Gorgeous gold tone, showing the kingly style

All armor variants included! The texture is upgraded to 4K resolution using Gigapixel AI technology, which is clearer and sharper than Photoshop's enlargement effect.

⚠️ Important reminder

**Ray tracing must be turned off! ** Turning on ray tracing when using this type of mod that modifies the model will cause the game to crash. There is currently no way to fix this issue, as it would require improvements to the ray tracing technology itself or FromSoftware's game modding tools.

---

🎮 Installation and use

**This mod can be installed while the game is running**, no need to exit the game! Just:

  • Switch the game to **borderless window mode**
  • Install the module in the usual way
  • Return to the game and equip the modified armor

**If already wearing affected armor:**

  • Just **remove** and **re-equip** the armor to see the changes
  • If you still don't see changes, **remove the armor**, **exit all menus** (including the pause menu with emoticons on the right), and then **re-equip**
  • Teleporting to **Blessing Point** may also take effect

👥 Multiplayer display settings

Want the recolor effect to show up on **Partners, NPCs, and Embodied Teardrops**?

Find the **DCX** file in the **parts** folder:

  • **Make a copy** and add "_l" (underscore and lowercase L) before the period in the DCX file name
  • For example: `am_m_1850.partsbnd` → `am_m_1850_l.partsbnd`
  • Repeat this for each armor part

**File naming rules:**

  • `am` = gauntlet
  • `bd` = breastplate
  • `hd` = helmet
  • `lg` = leggings

---

📥 Installation method

UXM installation

  • Follow the UXM Selective Unpacker instructions to unzip the parts folder.
  • Unzip the module to the selected location
  • Place the "parts" content into the folder with the same name created by UXM
  • Use UXM Selective Unpacker to patch the game

Mod Engine 2 installation (recommended)

  • Download Mod Engine 2 and place it anywhere
  • Make sure there is a "parts" folder in the "mod" folder of Mod Engine 2
  • Extract the module to the selected location
  • Put the "parts" content into the folder with the same name in the "mod" folder
  • Use Batch File launchmod_eldenring to launch the game

---

🗑️ Uninstall method

Just delete the DCX file in the parts folder, or the entire parts folder if this is the only mod you have installed that uses that folder. **Please make sure the game is not running** otherwise the armor will become invisible.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
