Hoogy’s initial career and souvenirs

👋 Hello everyone! I'm Hoogy, and with the DLC released a month ago (at the time of writing), I decided to try my hand at getting into modding. During my practice, I put together a few custom careers that I was pretty happy with and took the opportunity to expand on them.

🎯 **Overview**

While this mod is primarily about new classes, it also includes some smaller changes to make the modding process smoother. This includes adjustments to souvenir options, changes to weapon stat requirements, and other minor modifications.

🆕 16 new professions

**Boxer** - *A lonely wanderer who only knows how to conquer. Under a vow of silence, they decided to let their fists do the talking. *

**Heir of the Dragon** - *A dragon-obsessed man from an unknown land. Use a tachi and a mark infused with dragon power. *

**Spell Swordsman** - *A traveling mercenary who is both a gifted mage and a determined duelist. Use two special rapiers. *

**Zealot** - *Mongrel samurai imitator from the west. Their mad devotion to the culture of the Reedlands drives them to hoard anything associated with the East. *

**Oath Keepers** - *Iron-willed paladins who relentlessly pursue their oath. However, by its very nature this cannot be adhered to. Use powerful protective gear and spells. *

**Ranger** - *The once famous sharpshooter is thankful to be far away from home. They are proficient in a variety of ranged weapons. *

**Forged Script Rogue** - *Strange keeper of the *Forged Script weapon. Having long forgotten their homeland, they roam the borderlands armed only with throwing weapons. *

**Pure-Blooded Knight** - *A former servant who served Mongwen, who left Mongwen's palace after witnessing a horrific enchantment. Without Monger, they have difficulty using their scythes. *

**Lost Corner** - *Wandering Cornerfolk who are far away from home. They roam the Borderlands driven by a burning desire for vengeance against the Golden Order. *

**Rampaging Bears** - *The beastly faders who seem to take "Bear Communication" more seriously than most. Use terrifying claws to fight with ferocity. *

**Knight of Michaelan** - *A knight sworn to Michaela and his sacred tree, using the prayer of the Golden Order. They now look for new targets. *

**Enchanted Knight** - *A knight who embraces the power of pyroxene, casting spells while fighting enemies in melee combat. *

**Royal Swordsman** - *Highest squire, almost a noble before all faded ones were exiled. Handle two light greatswords with grace. *

**Exiled Soldiers** - *The Faded Ones who once lurked among the Exiled Soldiers. After being discovered and subsequently banished, they smuggled many different weapons. *

**Blood Wolf** - *A cunning, determined and deadly raging wolf. They are fearless warriors, facing death with unparalleled vigor and pride. *

**False King** - *Former contender for King of Elden, has fallen from grace. Use the flames of epileptic fire. *

🎁 New souvenir lineup

**Marika's Blessing** - *Marika's blessed special elixir. Completely restores HP and cures all abnormal conditions. They are quite rare and can only be found in the Shadowlands. *

**Forged Stone Miner's Bell** - *A bell once held by a miner. Allows the purchase of Forgestone(1), Forgestone(2), and Pyroxene Shards. *

**Golden Horn Keepers** - The old currency used by the *Horners. Runes earned from defeated enemies are increased by 40% for 3 minutes. *

**Pure Knight Finlay** - *The ashes of the legendary Pure Knight. It is said that the ashes contain souls. *

**Blessed Blue Dew Talisman** - *Amulet depicting the blessing of blessing, a drop of dew from the blue glowing sap of the Golden Tree. Slowly restore FP. *

**Stone Sword Keys** - *Five sword-shaped stone keys. Breaks the seal on the Imp Statue, but can only be used once. *

**Charming Branches** - *Ten sacred branches filled with charming power. Said to be der …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
