Sekiro - Battleworn Katana
✨ Module introduction
This mod adds a battle-damaged style katana that replaces the weapon used in Clever's Heaven Splitter - Genichiro move set and Tachikaze - Iai Sword Master move set.
🗡️ Weapon Features
- **Unique Design**: The model is spliced from various NPC weapon parts in "Sekiro"
- **Battle Damaged Appearance**: Creates a rough, nearly destroyed look on the weapon
- **Character Adaptation**: Very suitable for ronin or fallen samurai type characters
- **Included by default**: Broken bow model for the Heaven Splitter variant
🎯 Optional features
- **Base Replacement**: Replaces weapons in the Heaven Splitter and Tachikaze action sets
- **Extra Options**: Provides option files to replace ordinary swords, suitable for model exchange with other in-game katana swords
⚠️ Known issues
As this is my first time working on a From Software game, the author is still learning the workflow. Occasionally after fast traveling or resting at a blessing point, the scabbard may inexplicably lose texture. Restarting the game usually resolves this issue.
🔧 Compatibility
This is just a model replacement mod and as far as I know should be compatible with all versions of the game.

*The author welcomes any suggestions for fixing texture issues and will be happy to release an updated version once fully fixed. *
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
