🔄 Replace other sets
Want to replace another armor or weapon set? Just rename the file!
📋 Check out the Elden Ring armor and weapon model IDs
**File naming rules:**
- `hd` = helmet | `bd` = breastplate | `lg` = legs | `am` = gauntlets
- `m` = male | `f` = female | `XXXX` = model ID
- `wp` = weapon | `_l` = NPC item
**Example:**
- `bd_m_XXXX.partsbnd.dcx` → `bd_m_1540.partsbnd.dcx` Replaces male chain mail
- `wp_a_XXXX.partsbnd.dcx` → `wp_a_0550.partsbnd.dcx` replaces the knife

💡 Usage Tips
🎭 **Character Mod Features:**
- Most character mods use armor parts
- Helmets, leg armor, and gloves are usually invisible
- Some sets contain female version files (bd_f_XXXX.partsbnd.dcx)
- If there is no female version file, you can copy the male version and rename it

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
