✨ Core Functions

With this mod, you can use custom controller or keyboard keys to pause the game, allowing you to take a break at any time during intense battles!

🛠️ Prerequisites

• Requires Elden Mod Loader installed
• No need to run external applications or replace files
• Mods will be loaded automatically when the game starts

📥 Installation method

• Unzip the "PauseEldenRing.zip" file
• Place the mods folder into the game root directory
• For example: "G:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\ELDEN RING\Game\"

⏸️ How to use the pause function

**Default key settings:**

• Keyboard: P key
• Controller: Press the left joystick + A key (X key for PS controller)

🎹 Custom key bindings

Edit the "mods/PauseTheGame/pause_keybinds.ini" file to rebind the keys, support single keys or key combinations!

**Configuration example:**

pause_keys = a+b+c, start

unpause_keys = backspace+pagedown, lmb

```

⌨️ Keyboard key mapping

The following key names are supported:

• **Basic keys**: a-z, 0-9
• **Function keys**: backspace, tab, enter, escape, spacebar
• **Modifier keys**: lshift, rshift, lctrl, rctrl, lalt, ralt
• **Direction keys**: leftarrow, uparrow, rightarrow, downarrow
• **Function key area**: f1-f12, pageup, pagedown, home, end
• **Numpad**: numpad0-numpad9, multiply, add, subtract, divide

🎮Controller key mapping

• **Direction keys**: dpadup, dpaddown, dpadleft, dpadright
• **Function keys**: start (Options of PS controller), select (Back or Share)
• **Joystick**: lthumbpress (press the left joystick), rthumbpress (press the right joystick)
• **Shoulder buttons**: lshoulder (L1), rshoulder (R1)
• **Action keys**: xa (PS's Cross), xb (PS's Circle), xx (PS's Square), xy (PS's Triangle)
