Floppy Ring
🎮 **Make game animations funny and interesting! **
✨ Core Functions
Inspired by Meowmaritus' Floppy Souls, this mod exaggerates the movements of all characters in combat and cutscenes.
🌟 **Feature Highlights:**
- Supports exaggeration adjustment from 0% to 10000%
- Real-time configuration takes effect without restarting the game
- Supports "Elden Ring", "Dark Souls 3" and "Sekiro" at the same time
🎯 Game experience
**Default setting:**
- 300% exaggerated effect
- Animations are exaggerated relative to the reference frame
- The exaggeration effect gradually increases and decreases in most animations
💡 **Usage Suggestions:**
- Try 200% to get animations that are still recognizable but quite funny
- 500% will activate the incomprehensible "noodle" effect
- In "Sekiro", different settings may affect the connection method of bounce
⚠️ **Note:**
Overexaggeration can make certain parts of the game extremely difficult or impossible to complete, such as the final blow against Shenron in Sekiro. In these cases it may be necessary to temporarily reduce or disable the exaggeration effect.
🔧 Installation Guide
Floppy Ring is a standard dll module that supports multiple installation methods:
Method 1: Use Elden Mod Loader
- Install Elden Mod Loader
- Place `FloppyRing.dll` and `floppy_config.ini` into the `mods` subdirectory
- Start the game
Method 2: Rename to dinput8.dll
If you are not using other mods that require dinput8.dll injection, you can put the file into the game directory and rename it.
Method 3: Chain loading through Mod Engine (DS3 and Sekiro only)
Configure Mod Engine to load other dll modules.
📝 **IMPORTANT NOTE:**
FloppyRing.dll and floppy_config.ini must be in the same directory!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
