Fire Monk Hood - No rust
🔥 **A simple recolor and metallic edit** to change the dirty brown mail armor into a clean, blue and reflective material. I also recolored the headband underneath the hood, although you probably won't see that very often.

🛠️ Installation instructions
First unzip the .rar file you downloaded. It contains a "parts" folder, which contains the mod's .dcx files.
**Using ModEngine2:**
- Place the "parts" folder into the "mod" folder of Mod Engine
- If you already have the "parts" folder of other mods, you can also directly put the .dcx file into it.
**Use Metis Mod Launcher:**
- Start the program and click the "Mods" tab on the left
- Select "Add from folder" and select the directory where you placed the "parts" folder
- Go to the "Profiles" tab and select the profile
- Check the newly added mod in "Select mods"
💡 Metis, although it looks complicated, is helpful for managing multiple mods because it allows you to save mods in separate, custom-named folders with an actual user interface.

🎨 Design Concept
The Flame Monk suit is very cool, but the way they walk around with their rusty hoods really bothers me. Oddly only the hood does this, the rest of the armor is flawless. I don't understand why almost every outfit in this game has a weird detail that brings down the overall aesthetic.
My guess is that the hood may have been gray before it rusted, rather than blue. But even so, it still doesn't match the rest of the set, and the original's Black Flame hood already covered that look.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
