faded shadow - Reshade preset

✨ **Make the world of "Elden Ring" more colorful**

Default introduction

This resource pack contains two Reshade presets:

🚀 Non-global illumination version

  • Performance-friendly with minimal impact on frame rate

-Add color grading and contrast adjustment

  • Enhanced lighting effects and slight sharpening

🌟 Global illumination version

  • Contains all features of non-global illumination version
  • Add small and medium range shadows

-Achieve light bounce effect

  • Optional depth of field blur effect
  • Requires stronger GPU performance

🎨 Color adjustment

Color grading aims to replace overly "pure" yellow, green, and blue tones with darker, muddier tones that give the game world a more atmospheric feel.

💡 Global illumination effect

Use NGLighting technology to achieve global illumination effects, which is the most performance-consuming filter in the resource pack. But it can effectively add realistic shadow effects to objects such as bushes and furniture.

⚙️ Optional filters

  • **AMD FidelityFX Contrast Adaptive Sharpening** - Makes game images clearer
  • **NGLighting** - Global illumination effects (shadows and light bounces)
  • **qUINTMotionVectors** - required components for NGLighting
  • **AmbientLight** - ambient light effect
  • **LUT** - color grading and contrast adjustment
  • **FGFX Large Scale Aware Occlusion Irradiance** - Adds large range shadows and highlights
  • **Filmgrain** - Film grain effect, reducing color banding
  • **ADOF** - depth of field effect

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
