Crazy Eyes - Flames of Epilepsy Retexture

✨ Module introduction

This is a texture remake of the Ellefire Eyes. I made this texture by accident while messing around in GIMP. I think it looks cool!

---

🌟 Main features

  • **Brighter Glow Effect** - Eye glow slightly enhanced
  • **Black Pupils** - Deep black pupil design
  • **Clear Iris** - Iris texture is clearer and more distinct
  • **Sclera with visible blood vessels** - Realistic blood vessel texture added to the sclera

---

📥 Installation Guide

  • Download and install Mod Engine 2
  • Download this module
  • Unzip the file and place the DCX file into the module directory of Mod Engine 2 (specified in **config_eldenring.toml**)
  • Make sure Steam is running
  • Launch the game via Mod Engine 2 (by default, run **launchmod_eldenring.bat**)
  • Done!

---

⚙️Option settings

This mod can replace other types of eyes. To achieve this, just change the **1510** in the filename to some other number:

  • **1500** - Default eyes (**affects NPCs!**)
  • **1511** - Eye of the Dragon

---

🔧 Compatibility Notes

Incompatible with mods that modify the Epileptic Flame eye part file (**fg_a_1510**).

For **Seamless Cooperation** mods, please refer to this guide.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
