Replaces the Thorns set with the Dragon bone set
Skyrim Dragon Bone set
🐉 Module function
Completely replace the in-game Thorns suit with the exquisite Dragon Bone suit, giving your character a whole new look and experience!
⚡ Prerequisites
In order to avoid the problem of model wearing in character presets, it is recommended to use the author's Remove Player Skin Mod V3.1 version at the same time.
🎮 Installation method
Method 1: UXM installation
- Use the UXM tool to unpack and patch the game files (if you have not already done so)
- Find the /parts folder in the game directory
- Drag and drop the module file into the parts folder, overwriting the original file.
- Click Patch in UXM
- Run the game after disabling EAC
Method 2: ModEngine2 installation (recommended)
- Use ModEngine2 tool
- Drag and drop all .dcx files into the mod\parts folder
- Run the game directly
🔧 Custom replacement
You can replace other packages by renaming the file:
- hd = Helmet | bd = Armor | lg = Legs | am = Gauntlets
- m = male | f = female | wp = weapon
- XXXX = model ID
**Example:**
- Rename bd_m_XXXX.partsbnd.dcx to bd_m_1540.partsbnd.dcx to replace male chain mail
- Rename wp_a_XXXX.partsbnd.dcx to wp_a_0550.partsbnd.dcx to replace the knife
💡 Instructions for use
- Most character mods only use the armor part, leaving the helmet, legs and gloves invisible
- If the package contains female version files but the module does not provide them, you can copy the male version files and rename them

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
