- **Discard at will + infinite teardrop larvae**: A modified regulation.bin file that contains both the discard at will module and the infinite teardrop larvae module.
**Installation using ModEngine2**:
- Unzip the regulation.bin file in the compressed package to the ModEngine2 module folder
- Use the ModEngine2 launcher to start "Elden's Ring"
**Install directly into the game directory**:
- Navigate to your Elden Circle game folder
- Back up the current regulation.bin file
- Replace the original file with the modified version regulation.bin provided by the module
- Launch Elden Circle (do not use on official matchmaking servers)
🎯 How to use
When browsing your inventory, you can now **discard** or **keep** almost any item with a left-click!
👥 Multiplayer/Co-op Mode
In testing, it was discovered that you and all players in the session must have this modified regulation.bin file in order for it to work properly. If you are the only one who owns this mod, the item will be removed from your inventory but will disappear and cannot be picked up by anyone.
🔧 Archive data problem
Modifying regulation.bin may cause archived data to be corrupted for various reasons. **It is strongly recommended to back up your save files before using this mod**.
If you encounter the prompt "Archive data is corrupted", you can try the following repair methods: first restart the game using the original regulation.bin file. If the error disappears, open the archive and exit to the desktop, and then re-launch the game using the modified regulation.bin.
🛡️ Anti-cheat warning
To avoid being banned/flag by Easy Anti-Cheat, please make sure not to use this modified regulation.bin file on the Elden Circle matchmaking servers, but instead use it offline via ModEngine2 or Seamless Co-op. To reuse the match server, simply remove the modified regulation.bin file and replace it with an unmodified backup.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
