Death's Poker Fix
⚠️ **Note: This module has been deprecated and has been officially fixed in version 1.06**
🎯 Problem description
Do you feel the game lags when using the Death Poker Greatsword weapon skill? This is not your illusion, but a game bug!
🔧Fix content
This mod removes all attack pause effects from the Ghost Fire Ignite skill:
- Basic continuous flame
- Explosion triggered by pressing R2 immediately after pressing L2
- The black flame trail produced by pressing R1 immediately after pressing L2
⚔️ Description of attack pause
Like many games, Ring of Elden uses attack pauses in melee attacks, allowing your character to briefly slow down when hitting an enemy, giving the attack a "punch". But for ranged attacks or sustained effects (like Volcano Pot), there's usually no attack pause, as it would make the gameplay feel weird.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
