Replaced the Blessing Point in Elden's Circle with Dark Soul's Bonfire

Dark Souls Bonfires

🎮 Module function

Completely replace the blessing points in Elden's Circle with bonfires from the classic Dark Souls series! This visual revamp gives Junction a familiar Dark Souls vibe.

⚙️ Installation instructions

  • Place the "asset", "msg" and "sfx" folders into the Mod folder of Modengine2
  • Start the game through Modengine2

**Note**: If these folders already exist in your Mod folder, please put the contents of the three folders of this module into the corresponding existing folders.

🔥 Visual effects

  • Completely replaced the blessing points with Dark Souls style bonfires
  • **Important**: Spotting bonfires from a distance will be slightly more difficult after the replacement, as the light effect of Channeling Blessing has been removed (it will still be visible on the map)

🎵 Audio file

Edited SFX files include:

  • f000001000.fxr
  • f000001010.fxr
  • f000001011.fxr
  • f000006400.fxr
  • f000006401.fxr
  • f000006410.fxr
  • f000006411.fxr

💡 Optional features

Since some players reported that it was difficult to find the bonfire, the author provided an **optional download** to re-add the guidance blessing effect. Currently the standard golden light effect.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
