Cuirassier armor (slim version of Lapp suit)

✨ Module introduction

This is a personal gift I made for myself, but you can have it too!

🛡️ Armor design concept

I particularly like the armor design with the long gaiters that extend to the knees, it’s a very smooth and industrial aesthetic. The Lapp suit has always been my favorite in Dark Souls 3, even though it was designed to be too roomy in the hip area.

💫 Appearance improvements

This modified version makes the armor more closely fit the player character's body shape and removes the breastplate guard used for combat, showing the style of armor from the late 17th century - equipment ready for a baptism of bullets in a world with few black powder weapons.

🎮 Instructions for use

  • Default replacement for "Radagan's Red Lion Armor" breastplate parts
  • If you need to replace other sets, please refer to this helpful list:

⚙️ Installation method

  • Use UXM tools to unpack the game:
  • Place the files into the "Parts" folder
  • Start enjoying!

🔧 Technical details

If you want to use, improve, or modify this mod in your own mods, feel free! After all, I didn’t make the basic model. I just stripped it down, filled in some holes, painstakingly repainted the weight map, and spent a week re-adjusting it to make it fit better.

*Let your character wear this slim-fit armor and experience a more elegant fighting posture! *

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
