CSV Extractor W.I.P
🛠️ Function introduction
A simple Python script designed to extract modified CSV files from the regulation.bin file of "Elden's Circle".
📋 Prerequisites
- Requires **Python** installed
- Download **DsmsPortable**
- Finally download this CSV extractor
🚀 Installation and use
- After installing Python, unzip DsmsPortable to any location
- Place all files of this module into the root folder of DsmsPortable
- **Run First** `A Install To Panda.py` – Panda is used to remove unnecessary files after extraction
- Place the regulation.bin file into the regulation folder
- Run `Csv Extractor.py`
When running for the first time, the script will ask for the game root folder path - only the game folder path is required, not the exe file specifically.
The extracted CSV file will be found in the regulation folder.
⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE
- My knowledge of Python is limited, the code was completed with the help of ChatGPT, it may not be perfect
- `param_names.txt` file contains the most commonly edited parameters, but not all parameters
- If you want to add more parameters, you can add them yourself (make sure to add `:modified` at the end, otherwise all contents of the parameter will be extracted)
- I would like to create another py file to automatically import CSV to other regulation files, but ChatGPT is not currently able to do this

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
