Elden Ring Convenient Deaths
🎮 Features
A DLL file designed specifically for Elden Circle that provides the following death-related convenience features (can be enabled individually or in full):
✨ **Keep Runes on Death** - Runes are not lost when you die
✨ **Keep Rune Arc Effect** - Rune Arc effect continues after death
✨ **Quick Death Fade** - The death screen fades out faster
⚙️ How to use
⚠️ **IMPORTANT NOTE**: When you run this mod for the first time, a configuration file will be generated, with all functions turned off by default.
To enable any feature, follow these steps:
- Find the `er_convenient_deaths.toml` file in the same directory as `eldenring.exe`
- Set the feature you want to enable to `true`
- The game must be restarted after modifying the configuration file
🔗 More information
Detailed usage instructions, source code and the latest version release can be found in the GitHub repository.

💡 **Usage Suggestions**: Choose to enable the function according to your personal gaming style. If you feel that the difficulty of the game is too high, it is recommended to enable the rune retention function; if you feel that the death animation is too long and affects the rhythm of the game, you can enable the quick fade function.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
