Charged Jump
✨ Features
A fast and lightweight mod that increases jump height by holding down the jump key, without any negative side effects!
🎯 **Core Advantages**:
- Does not interfere with animations or visual effects
- No hypergravity effect
- Just a tiny HKS edit
- Easily integrated into your merge setup
🎮 How to use
By default, long pressing the jump key will double the jump height. The code is commented and you can easily edit it to any value you want.
Smoothly switch between default height (adjustable) and higher jumps (also adjustable) based on key press duration.
📥 Installation Guide
- **Download Mod Engine 2**: Download from the GitHub releases page and extract to the game folder
- **Install the module**: Unzip all files into the "mod" folder (the same directory as modengine2_launcher.exe)
- **Start the game**: Start the game through launchmod_eldenring.bat
🔧 Advanced settings
To merge this mod, simply open the c0000.hks file with Notepad++, search for "kmstr charged jump", and copy everything between the comments into the c0000.hks file of your choice (in the same function and location). Read the comments to find the modified line to customize the jump height.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
