Three dark reworked textures for the Royal Greatsword

Brad's Black Greatsword

🎨 **Three dark royal greatsword textures have been remade**

✨ Features of the latest version

  • **Customized scabbard version**: Giant custom scabbard made by S1LV3RSC0PE, perfect for this giant sword!
  • **New Blue and Silver Version**: Added at the request of players, perfectly matching Frost/Ghost Flame or Silver armor styles
  • **Original Optimization Adjustments**: Minor adjustments have been made to the original version

🎯 Creative inspiration

This is a mod I made for myself, inspired by the color scheme of Godhide Weapons and the Blade of Malikith. The entire texture was repainted and retouched by hand!

The gold swirl effect was originally meant to mimic the look of Damascus steel, but ended up looking more like a frantic fingerprint, which is also cool!

📥 Installation method

Install using Mod Engine:

  • Download and unzip the file
  • Put the "wp_a_0602.partsbnd" file into the mod > parts folder

⚠️ Known issues

Under certain weather and lighting conditions (foggy, cloudy), a dark green or purple tint will occasionally appear in the middle of the blade. This isn't an effect I added, it's probably some effect of the metallic texture not being noticeable on the original silver version, and now becoming slightly more noticeable with the darker texture. But most of the time this problem is completely invisible.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
