📥 Installation Guide
Using ModEngine
Add the module to the `external_dlls` section of the Mod Engine configuration file:
```
external_dlls = ["path\\to\\Resizer.dll"]
```
Using Elden Mod Loader
- Install Elden Mod Loader
- Bypass EAC protection
- Create the `ELDEN RING\Game\mods` directory
- Copy Resizer.dll and Resizer_config.ini to the mods directory
Standalone installation
Rename the module to dinput8.dll and place it in the game directory, bypassing the EAC.
⚠️ **Important reminder**: Resizer.dll and Resizer_config.ini must be located in the same directory!
⚠️ Current Limitations
- Weapon scaling applies to all human NPCs at the same time
- Character movements in synchronized animations will be scaled, which may cause the animation to be out of sync.
- Cloth physics for scaling characters are disabled
- Cloth physics in cutscenes may exhibit visual anomalies
- Character ragdoll system is not scaling
- Falling state may be triggered when falling from a high enough height
🙏 Acknowledgments
Special thanks to Dasaav and Zullie the Witch for their research on sizing techniques, and the ServerName community for their help with runtime analysis.

💡 **Tip**: Startup information and error messages will be logged in Resizer_log.txt, and new settings will also be logged there when the configuration file is updated.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
