When I first discovered the Black Blade armor, it was love at first sight—but something just didn't feel right. The "blackness" of the original armor doesn't live up to its name, especially the transparent cape that I can't stand.

So I started my learning journey: unpacking the texture files of Elden's Ring, and using Photoshop to repaint the beautiful cloak texture. But things don't go well - until Ifrit's help brings the cloak from the ghost realm to the real world!

Now, my picky taste is finally satisfied and I can continue to enjoy the game. This module was originally only for personal use, but now that I have made it, I will share it with everyone - after all, 99% of modules are born this way!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
