beyondmoonlight
✨ **A personal experimental mod designed to push the Moon Shadow Sword's instant moonlight skill to the extreme! **
🗡️ Module concept
After studying the numerical adjustments of PsychoFPS's Moon Shadow Sword 2.0 and other similar modules, I decided to personalize the instant moonlight according to my own aesthetic. My vision was to create a powerful skill with a very anime-like feel - with huge lateral slashing range and high damage, but with fewer uses.
⚔️ Skill adjustment
**Heavy Attack:**
- Uses the same high damage bonus as light attacks
-Significantly increased attack range and speed
**Light Attack:**
- Fires visible projectiles forward and invisible projectiles to both sides
- Significantly increase the speed, duration and hit range of front and rear projectiles
- Increase the number of lateral projectiles to fill the attack gap
- Forward ballistics can penetrate map objects, while lateral ballistics retain terrain hit effects
💥 Damage enhancement
-Significantly increased skill damage
- Increased magic damage and additional physical damage
- Enhance body dominance and stiffness effects
- Comes with CSV file for easy merging with other modules
📥 Installation instructions
Install using modengine2:
- Place the regulation.bin file into the mods folder
- Make sure the anti-cheat system is disabled
💡 **Compatibility Tips:**
- Export based on clean regulation.bin
- Compatible with Elden Ring Reforged
- Since it's just a parameter edit, it should be easily incorporated into any configuration that doesn't significantly modify the instant moonlight
🔧 **Merge Guide:**
If you are not familiar with DSMapStudio's merging process, you can refer to Clever's guide or related YouTube tutorials.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
