Better Archery
🎯 **Bring the bow and arrow gameplay back to life! ** This mod is specially designed for players who like pure bow and arrow genre. It makes bows and arrows more practical in the game through balance adjustments.
✨ Current version update
**Changes in version 1.1:**
- **Arrow Range**: Restored to original value
- **Arrow Sting**: Combined the effect of enhanced arrow range into one talisman, you can now get dual effects with one talisman, freeing up three other talisman slots
🏹 Major improvements
**Damage increase:**
- The damage of all bows, crossbows and hand-held ballistae has been moderately increased
- Doesn't upset the balance too much, but does give the bow some advantage
**Carrying capacity:**
- The upper limit of arrows carried is increased from 99 to 250
- Although it cannot reach the ideal 999, it is already a significant improvement
**Amulet Strengthening:**
- The **Arrow Sting** amulet greatly increases the damage of arrows and crossbow bolts
- The goal is to make bows competitive with melee combat and magic
**Other optimizations:**
- Adjusted the stamina consumption of all bow weapons
- Slightly increase stance damage of all bow weapons
🔮 Future Plans
**Upcoming improvements:**
- Designed new uses for the Arrow Range Talisman
- Add combat skills to bow weapons
- Possibly increase arrow flight speed
- Possibly expanded to throwing weapons

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
