🔧 Compatibility with other mods
Seamless cooperation module
Follow the guidelines for using Seamless Cooperation with other mods. **Starting from version 1.1.0, other players will be able to see your dyeing effect as long as they also install this mod. **
Fusion Module
Update: Fusion module version 2.1.2 already includes this module by default, no additional installation is required. By default, the armor dyeing function can be used at the blessing place.
Recast Module
Update: ELDEN RING: Reforged version 1.2.3 has integrated dyeing system, no need to install it separately. Unlock color palettes by completing archery challenges.
Other modules
This mod should be compatible with any other mod without manual merging. If you find compatibility issues, please leave a message for feedback.
Steam Deck Installation
Also works on Steam Deck, but requires launching the game via Steam instead of running `launchmod_eldenring.bat`. See how to install the Elden Ring mod on Steam Deck.

🎮 How to use
- Rest at the blessed place
- Select "Apply Stain"
- Select "Main Color" - hover over a color to preview the effect, then select the color you want
Choose "Secondary Color" or "Tertiary Color" to customize different parts of your outfit. The specific impact varies by item. Some items are a single solid color and are not affected by secondary or tertiary colors. It is recommended to try different combinations.
To adjust the intensity of each color, select "Main Intensity", "Second Intensity" or "Tertiary Intensity" in the stain menu. High intensity helps show up the stained effect on dark textured gear, while medium intensity is more subtle and realistic.
---
🎨 Custom color
To add more color choices, open the `erdyes.ini` file and add new color names and hex codes at the end of the file. After saving the file and restarting the game, the custom stain color will appear in the menu.
If you're not sure how to select a hex code, you can use the color picker.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
