🔧 Technical details
If you want to integrate other modules, you can refer to my method:
Although it took a lot of time, I successfully integrated the "NieR 2B standby walking, running and sprinting action module" into the "Convergence module"!
**Specific steps:**
- Download the Nier 2B Idle Animation With optional Walk Run Sprint module and unzip it
- Learn to use Yabber tools (very easy)
- Use Yabber to decompress the "c0000.anibnd.dcx" file in the Nier module
- Enter the generated c0000-anibnd-dcx directory and copy the following tae files:
- a00.tae
- a02.tae
- a03.tae
- a10.tae
- a12.tae
- a13.tae
- Also use Yabber to decompress "c0000.anibnd.dcx" in the Convergence module
- Paste the file you just copied into the corresponding tae directory of the Convergence module
- Repackage to generate a new "c0000.anibnd.dcx" file
- Replace the original files in the Convergence module with new files
Finish! 🎉
Out of love for the game, I am sharing this merged file here so that more players can experience the elegant movements of 2B!
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
