Virtual Dimension Virtual Dimension Tower

Galaxy-shared storage dimension for Dyson Sphere Program. Virtual dimension storage space shared by the entire galaxy.

Turns the vanilla Interstellar Logistic Station (ILS) into a "Virtual Dimension Tower" — no new buildings, fully vanilla-compatible. Turns the vanilla Interstellar Logistic Station (ILS) into a "Virtual Dimension Tower" — no new buildings, fully vanilla-compatible.

Features

  • Galaxy-shared dimension storage — upload at any ILS, withdraw at any ILS, in any star system. Shared storage across the galaxy, accessible on any planet.
  • Interstellar supply (interstellar supply) slot: items above half of the slot cap flow into the dimension — local logistics always have priority. Supply slots never pull from the dimension.
  • interstellar demand (interstellar demand) slot: pulls from the dimension up to half of the slot cap. Only stations you explicitly set to interstellar demand ever receive dimension items.
  • Orbital collectors on gas giants Gas planet orbit collectors automatically upload everything above half of each storage slot — no need to ship resources out. Gas planet orbit collectors automatically upload everything above half of each storage slot — no need to ship resources out.
  • Cross-planet transfer costs only power — the dimension link needs no ships or drones.
  • Local drone logistics keep working exactly like vanilla and combine freely with the dimension (e.g. local demand + interstellar supply = drones gather local goods, surplus uploads). Local drone logistics is consistent with the original version and can be combined freely.
  • Alt+5 opens the dimension inventory: browse stored items, search, and set per-item caps 0 ~ 10,000,000 (buildings default 50, items default 2,000,000). The window is resizable — drag the bottom-right corner.
  • Saves and loads with your game via DSPModSave.

Usage

  • Build an ILS and keep it powered. Build an interstellar logistics transport station and keep it powered.
  • Set a slot to interstellar supply (interstellar supply): everything above half cap uploads into the dimension.
  • On another planet, set a slot to interstellar demand: the dimension refills it up to half cap. On another planet, set a slot to interstellar demand: the dimension refills it up to half cap.
  • Press Alt+5 anywhere to inspect and configure the dimension.

Installation

  • Recommended: install Mod Manager — dependencies are resolved automatically. It is recommended to use Mod Manager for one-click installation.
  • Manual: install BepInEx, CommonAPI and CommonAPI-DSPModSave first, then copy the BepInEx/plugins/VirtualDimension folder into the game's BepInEx folder.

Configuration configuration

| Setting | Default | Description |

| --- | --- | --- |

| UI / WindowWidth | 1000 | Saved width of the Alt+5 window. |

| UI / WindowHeight | 620 | Saved height of the Alt+5 window. |

Transfers between slots/collectors and the dimension are instant and uncapped — the moment a supply slot holds more than half its cap the surplus goes in; a demand slot fills to its full cap immediately.

Requirements environment

  • Dyson Sphere Program 0.10.x (tested on 0.10.34)
  • BepInEx 5.4.5+, CommonAPI 1.6.7, CommonAPI-DSPModSave 1.2.2

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin

  1. The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
  2. Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
  3. Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
  4. Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.

Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
