The reverse of PlanetwideSupplier: instead of topping buildings up from
your logistics network, this mod pulls finished output straight off
your buildings and pushes it into your logistics network - no belts,
no manual hauling.
What it does
Every crafting building's finished output (smelters, assemblers,
chemical plants, refineries, Matrix Labs in production mode) and every
standalone Mining Machine's or Oil Extractor's output is pushed
straight into your planet's logistics stations (ILS/PLS) - no belts, no
manual runs. It only ever tops up a station slot you've already
assigned that exact item to - it never claims a blank slot or invents
a new logistics entry, and it never overrides a belt or sorter already
picking up a building's output.
Features
- Auto-collect crafting output - smelters, assemblers, chemical
plants, refineries, and Matrix Labs in production mode.
- Auto-collect standalone mining output - Mining Machines and Oil
Extractors that aren't already built into a station's own
vein-collector slot (vanilla already auto-collects those).
- Never claims a blank slot - only credits a station slot already
assigned to that exact item. Nothing gets auto-added to your
logistics list; you stay in control of what each station handles.
- Never overrides belts - a producer or miner already being picked
up by its own sorter/inserter is left alone. This mod only collects
from output with no dedicated pickup of its own.
- Two independent modules - Production, Mining - each with its own
on/off switch.
- Planetwide by default - or set a limited radius per module to
credit only nearby stations.
- Nearest-station-first sourcing so the closest depot is credited
first.
- Cheap - throttled scans, not every tick, so it stays light on UPS.
- Config-only - no in-game UI; every setting lives in the BepInEx
config file.
Installation
Via r2modman Mod Manager (recommended):
- Install r2modman or the Mod Manager.
- Search "Dyson Sphere Program" and set up a profile.
- Search "PlanetwideCollector" in the Online tab and install.
- Launch the game through the mod manager.
Manual install:
- Install BepInEx 5 for Dyson Sphere Program.
- Download the latest PlanetwideCollector-.zip from the
Releases page.
- Extract the ZIP into your Dyson Sphere Program folder so the
plugins\ path lands inside BepInEx\plugins\.
- Launch the game once. BepInEx creates
BepInEx\config\com.zicarius.PlanetwideCollector.cfg with the defaults.
- (Optional) Edit that.cfg to taste - with the game closed, then relaunch.
Before you install
This is a BepInEx plugin. It has no Harmony patches at all - both
modules are self-driven scans (throttled off the game's own tick
counter), not patches on any vanilla method.
- Only download from sources you trust. Only this mod's
page or the GitHub repo - treat
re-uploads elsewhere as unsafe.
- Game updates can break it. A DSP update may stop this mod from
working until a compatibility update is released.
- Save-safe by design. This mod stores nothing in your save. It
only moves existing item counts between existing buildings and
existing station stock while you play. Remove it any time and your
save stays vanilla - everything simply stops auto-collecting.
- Pairs naturally with PlanetwideSupplier, but doesn't need it.
PlanetwideSupplier tops buildings up from your stations;
PlanetwideCollector tops your stations up from your buildings - the
two work together (this mod fills stations, PlanetwideSupplier drains
them into other buildings), or fine entirely on their own.
Configuration
All settings live in the BepInEx config file - there is no in-game
settings window. Edit it with the game closed, then relaunch (config is
read at launch). Both modules below have their own En
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
