MissileControlMod

v1.0.1·Updated 2026-02-20

The intelligent high-altitude suppression module for missile defense towers and magnetized plasma cannons (including MK2) can automatically control firepower to maintain the blood circulation of the Black Mist Relay Station, achieving long-term suppression and resource acquisition.

About this mod Machine translation

Missile Control Mod

This module adds intelligent tactical control functions to the missile defense towers and magnetized plasma cannons in "Dyson Sphere Project", specifically for fire suppression in high-altitude mode (for space units/relay stations). The aim is to suppress the Black Mist relay station for a long time rather than completely destroy it through precise control of firepower, thereby continuously gaining resources or combat experience.

Core functions

  • Smart Suppression
  • Specializing in high altitude: This module function only takes effect when the defense tower attacks high altitude (such as a relay station).
  • Automatic blood control: The module will automatically monitor the durability of the target relay station.
  • Ceasefire logic: When the target's durability falls below the set threshold (default is 10%), the defense tower will automatically stop attacking and enter "monitoring mode".
  • Recovery logic: When the relay station repairs itself to a high threshold (default is 95%), the defense tower will automatically resume attacking.
  • Cyclic suppression: Through the automated cycle of "attack-ceasefire-recovery-attack again", continuous suppression of the relay station can be maintained without manual intervention by the player.
  • Prioritize enemy detection mechanism
  • After turning on "Suppression Mode", the defense tower will prioritize locking and attacking the Black Mist Relay Station on the current planet.
  • If there is no relay station, the defense tower will remain idle (under monitoring) or attack other targets according to the original logic.
  • Supports manual target switching between multiple relays (if there are multiple relays).
  • Convenient UI interaction
  • Tactical settings button: only shown in the panels of Missile Defense Turrets and Magnetized Plasma Cannons (including the MK2 version).
  • Floating control panel:
  • Enable/Disable: Turn suppression mode on or off with one click.
  • Threshold adjustment: Customizable ceasefire percentage (such as 10%) and recovery percentage (such as 95%).
  • Target switching: Click the "Switch Relay Station" button to cycle through different target relay stations and refresh the display in real time.
  • Synchronized status display: The bottom of the main panel of the defense tower will display the current status in real time (for example: "Relay Station 4 (Durability: 35%) [Under attack]"), allowing you to see the battle situation clearly.
  • Copy/paste and batch settings (new in v1.0.1)
  • Parameter copy: When you use the in-game "Copy" tool (Shift+left click or eyedropper tool) to copy a defense tower, its tactical settings (whether enabled, threshold, etc.) will be automatically copied.
  • Batch construction: After using the eyedropper tool to copy an already configured defense tower, the newly built defense towers will automatically apply the same tactical settings.
  • Smart reset: After exiting the construction mode, the copied tactical settings will be automatically cleared to avoid misoperation.
  • Support list
  • Missile Turret & MK2
  • Magnetized Plasma Cannon & MK2
  • Note: Other ground defense towers (such as high-frequency laser towers, machine gun towers, etc.) do not display this function because they mainly target ground units.

Installation instructions

  • Make sure BepInEx (5.4.21 or higher) and DSPModSave are installed.
  • Place MissileControlMod.dll into the BepInEx/plugins/ folder.
  • Start the game to take effect.

How to use

  • Click on any missile tower or plasma cannon to open the properties panel.
  • Click the “Tactical Settings” button in the lower right corner of the panel.
  • In the pop-up floating window, check the switch in the upper right corner to enable the mode.
  • Set your desired ceasefire health volume (Min) and recovery health volume (Max).
  • The module will automatically take over the attack logic of the tower.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin

  1. The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
  2. Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
  3. Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
  4. Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.

Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
