Dark Fog controls and merged convenience toggles for Dyson Sphere Program.

About this mod Machine translation

HardFog

HardFog adds a UXAssist configuration tab for Dark Fog cleanup tools and several merged convenience toggles. Cheating-oriented toggles are off by default unless noted.

Features

  • Clear Dark Fog ground bases on the current planet in game-native order: kill ground units, destroy non-core buildings, destroy cores, return relay stations, clear local renderer residue, and leave cleared base pits as ownerless ruins.
  • Clear space Dark Fog hives in the current star system.
  • Fill the galaxy with Dark Fog hives.
  • Generate Dark Fog surface ruins on the current planet.
  • ~~Dark Fog Pressure Reducer~~ (deprecated, replaced by Super Threat Reducer)
  • Super Threat Reducer: independently suppress space hive and / or ground base threat accumulation by skipping heavy threat computations, off by default.
  • Launch relay stations faster: checks relay demand every 120 hive ticks, dispatches one idle relay only when none is already outbound, and chooses non-gas target planets evenly, off by default.
  • Relay stations only dispatch to markers: a sub-option of faster relay launch. When enabled, faster relay launch only sends relays to available relay-attracting markers.
  • Research Speed Multiplier: reduces research hash requirements to about 1/36, off by default.
  • Ignore ground support requirement: treats missing ground or foundation support as buildable, including water placement, on by default.
  • Better vein placement: relocates newly generated vein groups from each planet birth point into easier-to-plan equatorial longitude windows, on by default.
  • Fighters fly farther: boosts mecha-owned fighters with 10x range, 10x damage, and invincibility, off by default.

Configuration

Open the UXAssist panel with Alt + BackQuote and use the HardFog tab.

Notes

  • Better vein placement only affects future planet vein generation.
  • Fighters fly farther only affects mecha-owned fighters; battle base fighters are excluded.
  • Existing saves can use the toggles, but already generated planets are not retroactively regenerated.

HardFog

HardFog provides a "Black Fog Control" page in the UXAssist configuration window, which centrally places black fog cleaning tools and convenient functions that have been incorporated. The switch for biasing direction is off by default unless otherwise noted below.

Function

  • Clean up the black fog base on the current planet in the native order of the game: kill ground units, destroy non-core buildings, destroy cores, repatriate relay stations, clean up local rendering residues, and keep the cleaned base pits as unowned ruins.
  • Clean up the space black fog lair in the current star system.
  • Fill the entire galaxy with black mist lairs.
  • Generate Black Mist star catalog ruins on the current planet.
  • ~~"Black Mist Blood Pressure Reducer"~~ (deprecated, replaced by "Super Blood Pressure Reducer")
  • "Super Buck": Independent switch controls the threat level of space lairs and/or ground bases, skips heavy threat calculations to save CPU, off by default.
  • "Relays only send to beacons": Black Mist only sends relays to marker/holographic beacon targets, turned off by default.
  • "Faster launch relay station": Check the relay station demand every 120 nest ticks; only send out 1 idle relay station when the current nest has no launched relay station, and allow non-gaseous target planets to get opportunities evenly. It is turned off by default.
  • "Research Multiplier": Reduces technology research hash requirements to about 1/36, turned off by default.
  • "Better Mineral Location": Starting from the birth point of each planet, the minerals generated in the future are rearranged to the equatorial longitude window that is easier to plan. It is enabled by default.
  • "Fighters fly longer": Enhance the range, damage and survivability of mecha fighters, turned off by default.

set up

Press Alt + Backtick to open the UXAssist panel and adjust in the HardFog tab.

Notice

  • "Better Mineral Location" only affects planet minerals generated lat …

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin

  1. The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
  2. Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
  3. Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
  4. Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.

Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.

Install these first, or the mod will not work:
