Extended Tech Queue

Extended Tech Queue is a lightweight Dyson Sphere Program mod that increases the maximum research queue length while leaving the game's normal queue behavior untouched.
Features
- Extends DSP's research queue beyond the vanilla limit of 8.
- One configurable queue-length setting.
- Default queue length: 100.
- Supported range: 8 to 1000.
- Uses DSP's existing vanilla queue ordering and reordering behavior.
- No custom UI.
- No per-frame processing.
- Preserves already-queued technologies when lowering the configured queue length.
Configuration
After launching the game once, BepInEx creates:
BepInEx/config/com.lokimoonlabs.extendedtechqueue.cfg
The setting is:
TechQueueLength = 100
Changes take effect the next time a save is loaded or a new game is initialized.
Installation
r2modman Mod Manager
Install Extended Tech Queue and launch Dyson Sphere Program modded. BepInEx 5.4.17 is the only dependency.
Manual
- Install BepInEx 5.4.17 for Dyson Sphere Program.
- Place Extended.Tech.Queue.v.1.0.0.dll in a folder under Dyson Sphere Program/BepInEx/plugins.
- Start the game once to generate the config file.
- Adjust TechQueueLength if desired, then reload your save.
Compatibility
Extended Tech Queue intentionally does not replace or modify DSP's native tech-queue reordering behavior.
Do not run another mod that also resizes GameHistoryData.techQueue at the same time, such as ReorderTechQueue's queue-length feature, because whichever patch runs last can determine the final queue size.

ReorderTechQueue by starfi5h was used only as a behavioral/API reference for the queue-resize approach. Extended Tech Queue is a separate project with its own code, scope, and identity.
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
