DSP Miner Multiplier (DSP mining machine multiplier module)
Dyson Sphere Program BepInEx module:
- ⛏️ Mining rate: can be set freely, ranging from 1 ~ 1000 times
- ⚡ Linear growth of power consumption: Power consumption linearly synchronizes with the mining rate, formula
Power consumption multiplier = 1 + (Mining multiplier − 1) × 255 / 999
That is: mining 1x → power consumption 1x; mining 1000 times → power consumption exactly 256x (upper limit 256x).
| Mining rate | Power consumption rate |
|---:|---:|
| 1x | 1x |
| 10x | 3.29x |
| 100x | 26.53x |
| 500x | 128.53x |
| 1000x | 256x |
Applies to Miners, Giant Miners (and similar MinerComponent entities such as Pumpers).
In-game shortcut keys
Press Alt+F1 at any time during the game to open/close the magnification adjustment panel:
- Slider or shortcut buttons (1x/10x/100x/500x/1000x) to adjust magnification instantly
- You can also manually enter any value (1 ~ 1000)
- The panel displays the current mining rate and corresponding power consumption rate
- Modifications will be automatically saved to the configuration file
The key combination can be modified in the [Hotkey] section of the configuration file (ModifierKey + ToggleKey).
Nebula online sync
Install Nebula with
Automatically enabled after NebulaMultiplayerModApi:
- When the connection starts, the host broadcasts the current multiplier to all clients
- In the game, the host changes the magnification through the Alt+F1 panel, and the client follows in real time
- When a new player joins midway, the host automatically resends the current multiplier
- The client's local magnification change does not affect other players (subject to the host)
- Restore the local configuration magnification after the connection is completed
When Nebula is not installed, the module can still run stand-alone as usual.
The display is consistent with the actual
The output/power consumption display at the following locations will be scaled synchronously according to the magnification (to avoid the display being inconsistent with the actual situation):
- Mining machine window (output/minute, power consumption itself is displayed according to actual requiredEnergy)
- Build preview gizmo (N x XX/min)
- Item details and attributes (descriptions such as "mining machine "per point per ore vein")
- Collector panel (vene/ocean collector speed text)
- Power rating for giant miner entries in power distribution panel
- Water pump production in planet/star details panel (N/min entry, gaseous collection rate is not affected)
Implementation principle (Assembly-CSharp decompilation and verification)
- Mining speedup: Harmony Prefix patch MinerComponent.InternalUpdate(..., ref float miningSpeed,...),
Multiply the miningSpeed parameter by the configured multiplier → the output is amplified synchronously with the transfer rate.
Without modifying any save fields, uninstalling the module will restore the original behavior.
- Increased power consumption: Harmony Postfix patch MinerComponent.SetPCState,
After setting the required energy in the game by speedDamper × speed² / 1e8, reset it by the power consumption multiplier.
PowerConsumerComponent.requiredEnergy (keeps idle/work ratio unchanged).
Install
- Install BepInEx 5 first.
- Copy DSPMinerMultiplier\bin\DSPMinerMultiplier.dll to
Game Directory\BepInEx\plugins\DSPMinerMultiplier\.
- Start the game.
Configuration
BepInEx\config\com.byboy.dsp.minermultiplier.cfg is generated after the first run:
[General]
The mining speed multiplier of the mining machine, ranging from 1 ~ 1000. Power consumption increases linearly and synchronously from 1 to 256.
Setting type: Single
Default value: 10
Mining multiplier MiningMultiplier = 10
If you install the ConfigurationManager plug-in, you can adjust it in real time in the game.
Compile from source
dotnet build DSPMinerMultiplier/DSPMinerMultiplier.csproj -c Release

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
