DSPBlueprintTools blueprint construction tool module

The Dyson Sphere Program BepInEx module provides blueprint coordinate offset, vertical superposition and linear transformation functions. The coordinates/height/zoom are accurate to 4 decimal places.

Function

  • Coordinate offset: According to the set X/Y/Z offset (4 decimal places) and repetition quantity, batch offset all building coordinates in the blueprint (net offset = offset × quantity).
  • Vertical overlay: Stack the blueprint into multiple layers along the Z-axis (height direction) according to the set number of layers and height of each layer (4 decimal places), and automatically check the game's 15,000 building limit.
  • Linear transformation: three-axis scaling (4 decimal places) + rotation around the vertical axis at any angle; supports batch replacement of building models (according to item ID).
  • Conveyor belt merging and lengthening (belt saving): The same straight conveyor belt laid out grid by grid in the blueprint is automatically merged into the longest section. The upper limit that can be placed changes with the latitude (about 1.8 at the equator, about 1.6 at the pole). The module automatically adapts according to the latitude of the blueprint area, and the endpoints are placed in steps of 0.5 grids to ensure that they can be placed; the upper limit can also be changed to a fixed limit in the configuration file.
  • Clipboard reading: Directly read the blueprint code in the in-game clipboard; there is also a small "read" button on the left side of the original button in the blueprint details window, which does not block any original buttons.
  • Direct application: The processing results are automatically written back to the game clipboard. You can also click "Apply/Preview" to directly replace the blueprint in the blueprint paste tool and place it immediately.

Install

  • Install BepInEx 5 and launch the game at least once.
  • Place DSPBlueprintTools.dll into BepInEx/plugins/DSPBlueprintTools/.

shortcut key

  • Default ALT + 4 opens/closes tool window.
  • Can be modified in BepInEx/config/dsp.byboy.blueprinttools.cfg:

[Universal]

Shortcut key = LeftAlt + Alpha4; Example: LeftControl + F8, None + F9 (no modifier key); The key name is UnityEngine.KeyCode enumeration name

Usage process

  • Copy the blueprint (or copy the blueprint code string) to the clipboard in the game.
  • Press ALT + 4 to open the window and click "Read Blueprint from Clipboard".
  • Set the offset/overlay/transform parameters and click the corresponding button; the results are automatically written back to the clipboard.
  • Paste directly in the blueprint paste interface, or click "Apply/Preview" to use it immediately.

build

dotnet build DSPBlueprintTools/DSPBlueprintTools.csproj -c Release

The reference is first taken from the warehouse libs/ directory; if you need to compile for the local game version, modify the GameDir in .csproj.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin

  1. The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
  2. Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
  3. Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
  4. Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.

Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
