Customize BGM
Now you can customize your own BGM.
Create a new folder "bgm" in the game directory (/Dyson Sphere Program). Then put your audio files(Only \.ogg or \.wav) in the folder you just created (which is /Dyson Sphere Program/bgm).
Only.ogg and.wav file is supported!!! You can't use mp3 file. Please use transcoding software to convert MP3 files to ogg or wav format.
( I've used the "UnityWebRequestMultimedia" rather "WWW" but still the game told me that mpeg stream is not supported so can't load mp3 file. If someone knows how to solve this please contact me. See in github page.)
Installation
- Install BepInEx.
- Drag CustomizeBGM.dll into "Dyson Sphere Program/BepInEx/plugins/"
- Create folder named "bgm" in the game directory (/Dyson Sphere Program).
- Put all your audio files (.ogg or.wav only) in "/Dyson Sphere Program/bgm/"
Configuration
You can switch the bgm to next by pressing O (the hotkey can be changed in configuration file).
You can decide to play the customized bgms randomly or not (default: random).
You can let the bgm changes when you enter a new planet or gamesave by set the SwitchAsOri to true. But this may sometimes cause that the bgm suddenly stops. So, not recommended. (default: false)
Custom BGM
Now you can customize the BGM! Create a new folder bgm in the game root directory, and then put all your audio files (only \.ogg and \.wav formats are supported) into the folder you just created, which is /Dyson Sphere Program/bgm/.
Only supports \.ogg and \.wav formats! ! ! You can't use mp3 files! So please use Format Factory or other transcoding software to convert the music into ogg or wav format and then put it in and it can be played.
(I've used "UnityWebRequestMultimedia" instead of "WWW", but the game still tells me that mpeg streaming is not supported, so it still can't load the MP3 file. If anyone knows a solution please contact me. See the github page.)
Install
- Install BepInEx framework.
- Place CustomizeBGM.dll into the "Dyson Sphere Program/BepInEx/plugins/" folder.
- Create a new folder named bgm and place it in the game root directory (/Dyson Sphere Program).
- Put your BGM file (.ogg or .wav) into the "/Dyson Sphere Program/bgm/" folder.
Configuration file
You can manually switch your BGM by pressing O (the O button can be changed to something else).
You can set whether to play randomly or sequentially (default: random).
You can have the BGM automatically switch when entering a new planet or saving, but this may cause the BGM to suddenly stop occasionally. Therefore not recommended (this feature is turned off by default).
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
