About this mod Machine translation
NOTE: This mod works best with Shipwrecked Preset.
Plugin for Island Adventures, primarily created by Mobbstar, but they allowed me to tweak some content and publish it to the Steam Workshop.
Key Notes: If you are using the Ship in Distress Preset, please note the following.
- You need to disable Island Adventures to disable caves, and if it has disabled caves, re-enable them.
- You need to manually enable Dragonfly (set it to default, or anything other than "none")
So what does this mod do? Well, I love Island Adventures and have recently added more SW Style worldgen, but I wish the SW worldgen's style included some things I call "DST Essentials" which include the following, all available via configuration options. This is basically what I call "Bare Minimum RoG" or "Bare Minimum DST"
This mod adds the following content to SW Worldgen

- (Dragonflyland) Dragonfly Island, can be one of two settings (if enabled), these settings include Desert and Volcano. Default is desert.
- Snowflake Mosaic is a simple desert island with vanilla dragonfly decoration. Includes cacti, tumbleweeds, and other desert stuff, but no hound's mounds.
- Volcano environment is a volcano themed island with ash and magma turf, Dragonfly settings can be found in the magma turf area and include coffee plants, elephant cactus, obsidian and charcoal boulders, dragon knight density and obsidian workbench. Dragonflies will also drop 3-8 obsidian when killed with this setup.
--- A note about Dragoon density, currently they are cosmetic only and do not spawn Dragoons, this will be fixed when Island Adventures implements Dragoons in the Volcano update.
- (Sandstorm Oasis) An oasis island with oasis and ant lions, and some cacti.
- (Noble Bee Beach) An island of grass and beach, bee queen and stage
- (Cave Cave) A cave entrance island with a lone sinkhole, walrus camp, moon base setting, glomer statue, suspicious moon bold and pet den. I call it Misc Stuff Island.
- (Island of the Moon) Island of the Moon, with crazy mechanics and whatnot (disabled by default)
- (Volcanico) A debug volcanic island (disabled by default, best to keep it.)
-Walrus and Glommer are configurable and disabled by default.
This mod also tweaks some recipes that can be enabled or disabled through settings.
These are the adjustments below.

End Table - 2 Limestone, 2 Boards, 2 Snakeskin Rug - Enabled by default.
Seawreath - 12 seaweed - disabled by default.
Flower Shirt - 3 papyrus, 3 silk, 5 petals - disabled by default.
Houndius Shootius - 1 Tiger Shark Eye, 1 Guardian Horn, 5 Thulecite - disabled by default.
Note: The floral shirt adjustment is based on the solo cruise ship crash, the cactus flowers do not exist.
Finally, this mod adds the ability to get all 3 chess piece trinkets via a 3 gold nugget roll on the slot machine, you can get either black or white chess pieces.
In IA you can exchange these pieces with Yaarctopus for 3 dubloons and corresponding sketches, making shadow pieces possible.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
