Usage steps
- Unzip xv2patcher.zip to the game root directory (in the DB Xenoverse 2 folder)
- Unzip XV2INS.zip to the game root directory (in the DB Xenoverse 2 folder)
- Open xv2ins.exe to install the X2M file (you need to set DBXV2.exe in the game bin file for the first run)

Things to note
1.xv2patcher version number 2.5 and XV2INS version number 2.7 correspond to game version 1.09.01 (previous game versions are not applicable)
- Before using the installation tool, you need to clear the previous MOD (X2M and integrated MOD). The integrated MOD directly deletes the data folder in DB Xenoverse 2. For X2M, you can directly use the all delete function in xv2ins.exe (or you can refer to Note 3 for operation)!
- Before using the installation tool, you must clear the previous xv2patcher and xv2skilcreat.exe)
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
