About this mod Machine translation
This tool allows you to modify files in rdbs without modifying the rdb file.
Perhaps new clothing and hair mods can be added (you can download the "Layer2 sample mods" in the tool collection to learn how to make new clothing mods)
If you are on game version 1.04a or above, please download version 0.5. If you are using game version 1.03b or lower, please download version 0.4.
Installation method:
Place the dinput8.dll file and REDELBE folder into the game directory
If you are installing a Mod based on this tool, just put the Mod folder into the "REDELBE" folder.

This tool allow you to modify files in the rdbs... without actually touching the rdb's at all.
It now also allows for new costumes and hairs mods (Modders: please read the file "Readme (for modders).txt" and download the "Layer2 sample mods" to know about how to make new costume/hair.
(I forgot to say in the readme for modders, but don't put any non-ascii char in your mod folder or it won't work properly).
DOWNLOAD VERSION 0.5 if you are in game version 1.04a or greater. Download version 0.4 if you are in game version 1.03b or lower.
Installation: copy the dinput8.dll file and REDELBE directory to where the game is installed.
Known issues:
- Currently there are problems if both player 1 and player 2 use a variant of the same outfit (this applies only when using layer2 mods). This usually happen when player1 and player2 use same character, same outfit, the player2 outfit may not get updated in such cases, and in battle it would use the same variant than player 1.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
