Added elemental weapons
The following weapon types have been added:
-Elemental one-handed swords (fire, water, atmosphere and poison, based on strength)
-Elemental one-handed axes (fire, water, air and poison, based on strength)
-Elemental one-handed clubs (fire, water, air and earth, based on strength)
-Elemental daggers (fire, water, air and poison, based on agility)
-Elemental Spears (Fire, Water, Atmosphere and Poison, Agility based)
-Elemental two-handed swords (fire, water, atmosphere and poison, based on strength)
-Elemental two-handed axes (fire, water, air and poison, based on strength)
-Elemental two-handed hammer (fire, water, air and earth, based on strength)
-Physical wand (causes bleed, based on intelligence)
-Physical staff (causes bleed, based on intelligence)
-Earth Wand (creates oil surface, based on intelligence)
-Earth Staff (creates oil surface, based on intelligence)
All new weapons can be found as normal loot and as base weapons in the store. Elemental weapons have a lower drop rate than physical weapons (on average, 1 out of every 4 physical weapons is an elemental weapon). Physical wands and staffs drop at the same rate as elemental wands and spells.
Earth Wands and Staffs drop at half the rate. To compensate for the addition of new weapons, merchants will provide more weapons (1.5x).
I also took the liberty of increasing the spear drop chance a bit (to 25%).
Additionally, the mod adds recipes for crafting rare non-bow or crossbow weapons of any element:
-Weapon + Origin of Fire = Random Rare Fire Weapon of the same weapon type
-Weapon + Water Origin = Random Rare Ice Weapon of the same weapon type
-Weapon + Origin of Air = random rare atmospheric weapon of the same weapon type
-Weapon + Earth Origin = Random Rare Earth or Poison (depending on weapon type) weapon of the same weapon type
-Weapons + Suffering Souls = Random rare physical weapons of the same weapon type
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
