About this mod Machine translation
Module: Rune—Skill Stone MOD gems.txt
illustrate:
This mod is compatible with all mods! Unless someone also modifies the gem entry and rune entry gems.txt, there will be a conflict!
We haven’t seen this type of module appear on the forum yet, so please feel free to use it!
Module content:
- Rune—Skill Stone
Rewritten the attribute entries of runes 1#-33# to ensure that more than 90% of the rune entries will not be repeated.
Each rune has 3 different entries for each inlaid part.
Each hole originally inherited one entry, and each hole inherited three different entry attributes.
Each rune has the same attributes of all inherited parts.
New skills have been added to the rune entries, such as 20#-30# runes. Each rune has a kind of aura and aura, a total of 11 types.
The 1# rune has teleportation skills. When a new account goes online, buy a 1# rune and smash any equipment into it, and you can teleport freely!
Since a large amount of data has been modified, other basic rune entries will not be introduced too much, basically all of them are included!
The biggest impact of adding this module is that the attributes of all Runeword equipment entries have changed dramatically (as shown below)
Due to the fundamental modification of the runes, some less popular rune languages have undergone extraordinary changes.
The number of inherited entries reaches more than 20. I've only tested these two here, you can explore the others on your own.
In principle. The more holes there are and the runes are not repeated, the combined rune language equipment has the greatest changes and the most inherited entries.
Duplicate entries will be stacked together.
I won’t include pictures of the original Death Rattle and Heart of Oak here. You can check it yourself.
- Gems—Skill Stones
The entry attributes of 7 kinds of perfect gems have been modified. Here are the pictures above. More details later.
1 Assassin & Exclusive Skill Stone
2 Druid & Exclusive Skill Stone
3 Witches & Exclusive Skill Stones
4 Paladins & Exclusive Skill Stones
5 Necromancer & Exclusive Skill Stone
6 Amazon & Exclusive Skill Stones
7 Barbarians & Exclusive Skill Stones
Due to Blizzard's core code mechanism, the above 7 types of stones are not recommended for use by your own profession.
- All stone entries can be stacked
- Due to the limitation of skill entries, when using the corresponding exclusive skill stones for your own profession, no matter how many stones you have embedded,
Skills that have been learned only enjoy a +3 bonus
Unlearned skills only enjoy +10 bonus
For the skills of other professions, you can enjoy the full bonus plus the entry bonus for all your own skills.
Assume that the barbarian uses the witch's skill stone. How many stones you use will increase the skill. If you use your own skill stones, please see the three items above.
Druid: Well, there are new species in the zoo, and there are more than 30 skeletons to play with.
Witch: Damn it, this monster has all three elements: ice, fire, and electricity? Let’s try my newly learned frenzy. Have you seen the melee mage?
Necromancer: Isn’t your skeleton efficiency too low? Wait for me to change my bow and prepare multiple arrows! !
2333, just kidding
Right. When using other character skills, pay attention to see if the weapon you are holding can be used...
Also, when using other character skills, there are many skills that other professions do not have skill release animations.
Therefore, you may see Amazon standing around and firing chain lightning, and the skill will be stuck when moving.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
