UE4 tweaks performance visuals and stutter fix
About this mod Machine translation
The following are the words of the original author, Google Translate + Manual Correction
FPS is normal, in fact I noticed better overall frame rate and reduced stuttering, the difference in my opinion is night and day, I'm trying to get the most out of the UE 4 engine as much as possible without ruining it and/or causing artifacts.
I put a lot of effort into this, so if you like it, please support it.
There is no RESHADE used to enhance what you see, no luma sharpening or nvidia sharpening other than the natural LUT I uploaded, this is all achieved via engine configuration plus -1.000 LOD in the Nvidia control panel and set to high quality.
Pictures were taken in HDR on my Samsung Odyssey, results may vary depending on hardware.
No tricks like supersampling or Nvida DSR upscaling or anything else are used, what you see is what you get.
The good thing about this is that you can still use a lot of recolors to make it perfect to your own taste without doubling the FPS penalty.
Disclaimer:
Results may vary between AMD cards, different monitors, and people using recoloring as well as multiple graphics settings in the game itself or in a potato computer, which is sub-optimal for what I'm after.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
