If you're using the engine speed mod and find that your regular brakes can no longer keep up, well... well, you get it.
Note #1: By default, the brake upgrade actually provides brake bonus strength, but with this mod, all brakes will have the same improvement value applied.
Alternate version: I made a weaker alternative optional version, in this version upgrading the brakes will gradually increase the brake strength, so you can fine-tune the strength you need, all brakes are still stronger than the vanilla brakes, and weaker than the main brakes in the mod version.
Note #2: imo the brakes like this get so powerful that on a stock engine it almost eliminates the ability to drift, if you hit the handbrake and turn it will just slow\stop. So unless this is what you want, I recommend you not to use this mod without the engine speed mod.
Install:
Unzip the .rar and copy the .pak file from it to %LocalAppData%\BendGame\Saved\Paks
If this is your first mod, then first:
Open %LocalAppData%\BendGame\Saved\ and create a new folder and name it "Paks"
Open your game installation folder, go to "Days Gone\BendGame\Content" and rename the folder sfpaks to sfpakss
