D.D.C (Darkwater Damage Configuration)
A BepInEx mod that allows you to tweak the amount of received damage.
Manual Install
- Install the already provided BepInEx for Darkwater.
- Download this mod.
- Place the D.D.C.dll into BepInEx/plugins.
- Start the game.
- Enjoy.
If you're Mod Manager then just click on Install with Mod Manager and it will automatically download any dependencies.
Configuration
To edit this mod values you need to start the game once with the D.D.C mod installed in plugins and then head into BepInEx/config to edit Darkwater.DamageConfig.
If you're using an interface like Mod Manager then just simply open the Edit config section and open up Darkwater.DamageConfig.
- ### Damage Taken Multiplier Toggle
Enable or disable the damage taken multiplier.
- ### Damage Taken Multiplier
Multiplier for incoming damage. Example: 0.5 = -50% damage, 1.0 = normal, 1.5 = +50% damage.
- ### Enable Kill Override
Enable or disable Kill Override.
- ### Kill Override Forced Damage
Amount of forced damage to apply to the player if they happen to receive an attack that would have instantly killed them instead.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
