This file has to go into the Dark Souls III\Game\mtd folder and overwrite the existing file, it won't do any harm, if using modengine just put the contents of the rar in the mod folder, make sure it's in the mtd directory
Hello everyone,
I wanted to have Ludwig's Silver Sword on Dark Souls 3 the moment I saw it, now the wait is over, the straight sword and all that's still from BloodBorne is in Dark Souls 3
Well I made this mod as a personal swap for the models I didn't like in Dark Souls 3 so the visual models they replaced are a personal preference but try to stay as true to the origin as possible :) Update!
They're all in one rar that you can swap or you can read on to find out how to make new ones out of them, remember to download the new MTD files to make them look exactly like Bloodborne :)
This time I have now included in the file the name of the weapon and which one it will replace, so you can decide for yourself, I linked here the full list for you to choose from :), so to install you have to unrar them all and then select which one you want or unrar again all the weapons in the Parts folder.-
If you want to play other mods with the new model, just unselect what you want to replace in the parts folder, this swap method is your best chance to experience new mods like cinders or any other and new models./
We are working with a new mod PapaAppa where you can find these items in a brand new updated map, we are far away but still on track, visit his channel to track the progress./
If you want to check this out you can visit this link to download and this video to know how to install so you have the weapons as new weapons and you can start roleplaying from scratch using this list to spawn the items you want, remember you will be playing vanilla Dark Souls 3 with only new weapons.
warn
Online is ok, as long as you do the swap, it won't be seen online unless another one has the same swap mod installed :)

Install
For Steam users, I recommend using the Mod Engine method to install mods. For users of other versions, you need to use the UXM method to install the mod.
Mod Engine method
- Download Mod Engine.
- Copy dinput8.dll and modengine.ini to the \DARK SOULS III\Game\ directory.
- Open the BloodBorneWeapons.zip file and extract the folders in the zip file to the Dark Souls III installation directory (i.e. E:\Program Files (x86)\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\DARK SOULS III\Game).
- Copy modengine.ini in the Cinders folder and replace modengine.ini in the installation directory.
- You can now launch the game and enable Cinders.
UXM approach
- Download UXM.
- Use UXM to open the Dark Souls III installation package.
- Use UXM to patch Dark Souls III executable files.
- Open the BloodBorneWeapons zip file and extract the folder to \DARK SOULS III\Game\.

Mod Engine method
- Open the Bloody Weapons ZIP file you downloaded.
- Extract the ZipBorneWeapons folder from the zip file to a temporary directory and select the swap you want, if you want all models just unzip everything again in the parts folder.
- Accept any prompts that warn you that files are being replaced.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
