Dark Souls 3 UXM

Enables file modification for DS2, SotFS, DS3 and Sekiro by decompressing game archives and patching the executable to load loose files.

usage

When you first launch the app, Sekiro's default Steam location will be selected. If the game you want is installed elsewhere, use the Browse button to correct it.

The Unpack button will extract all files from the game archive; any files that are already present will be skipped, so if you need to unmodify any file, you can simply delete it and unpack again without going through the entire process.

The Patch button will modify the executable to use these extracted files instead of viewing the archive; note that for Sekiro, most users should use the Mod Engine instead of patching. Patching the executable without unzipping the archive will crash the game, so make sure you do both.

Finally, the Restore button will restore the original executable and delete the extracted files, and the Abort button will cancel any operations in progress.

Bannability

UXM only edits the data in the executable, not the code, so deheating will not affect it. Generally file mods are never grounds for any Souls game ban, but mods that alter your saves may not be safe, so if using anything questionable, seek advice from your mod author and play offline.
