This mod introduces the Aaron Knight from Dark Souls 2. He is a mobile suit based on many aspects of Japanese mythology and culture, with dialogue heavily inspired by the Hagakure Newsbook. The character involves the background story of "Dark Souls 2", the concept of the Cursed Blade (i.e. the Demon Blade), the action module of the Demon Blade Aaron's Knight Sword, and the abilities of the Aaron's Knight boss battle itself.

*Samurai are warriors bound by honor and immediacy. They serve worthy lords, bringing their bushido philosophy and their art of war into the army. *

🎭 Theme

This character is based on Aaron Knight from Dark Souls 2. He is a warrior who uses his noble soul to fight against the bloodthirsty curse of his demon sword. He can move flexibly within the team's formation (although some abilities encourage him to stay purely in the front row), and most of his abilities have unique **bleed effects**. His attacks also benefit from the bleeding status of enemies or himself.

⚔️ Passive effect

• **Bleed Accumulation**: Each attack accumulates a bleed percentage, similar to the Tachi weapon class in the Dark Souls series. When the effect reaches full value, it can cause **huge bleeding damage** to the enemy in a single round.
• **The Cursed Blade's Struggle**: With every attack, the samurai struggles against the cursed blade. **Takes +6 pressure per attack**. However, he can be purified by surrendering to the bloodthirsty desire of the blade through the skill "**Bloodthirsty Demon Sword**", or his soul can be purified through "**Zen**".

Just like the action mod for the Demon Blade Aaron's Knight Sword in Dark Souls 2, you can try **Seppuku** for huge gains. But be warned: **The penalties are also high**.

🎯 Skills and Inspiration

The skill is inspired by the Aaron Knight boss battle, the weapon action modules available to players, and its background story. A common theme in Japanese narratives (and indeed all human narratives) is that the sword is a medium for bloodlust and spiritual conflict, which greatly inspired the design of my class.

• **Elegant Slash**: The samurai cuts gracefully. If he is bleeding himself or causing an enemy to bleed, he gains a **small dodge bonus**. Comes with the passive bleed effect mentioned above.
• **Back Leap Slash**: The samurai jumps back 2 spaces while slashing, giving the enemy a normal bleeding effect that lasts for 3 rounds.
• **Sliding Thrust**: The samurai uses his naginata to perform a long-distance thrust attack, causing **enhanced damage** to bleeding enemies. Move forward 2 spaces. Comes with passive bleeding effect.
• **Bloodthirsty Demonic Sword**: The samurai pierces himself with his demonic sword, and will receive **huge damage and armor penetration** during the remaining time of the battle, but will suffer damage, bleeding, and obtain an **incurable wound**, and **reduce the healing effect** received during the remaining time of the combat.
• **Piercing Attack**: The warrior launches a jumping attack that **penetrates any form of blocking protection** on the target, hits the target directly, and causes **huge damage** to the blocked target. Move forward 1 space. Comes with passive bleeding effect.
• **Zen**: The warrior seduces his opponent and gains Zen-like concentration. His ** dodge is improved, his accuracy is improved, and he will counterattack. Enjoy the sound effects! If he is currently bleeding, he loses some dodge. Nice stress treatment.
• **Soul Harvest**: The warrior pounces on a target. His demonic sword ** plunders part of the life essence ** of the bleeding enemy to nourish himself and the warriors. It will also **return the samurai's own lost life essence**. Not effective against unclean creatures.
