About this mod Machine translation

Reveler - Custom Class
🎭 **A brand new career designed for extreme players! **
The Reveler is a unique class whose core mechanics revolve around the "Death's Door" state. Most abilities require him to be on the verge of death to be most powerful, and he doesn't suffer from the usual near-death debuffs (though the Morality and Heart Attack debuffs still apply). This makes him a high-risk, high-reward option for players who are either **bold and careful** or **uninhibited**.
✨ Core Features
- **Extreme Output**: In front of death's door, he can cause huge single target damage.
- **Powerful field control**: Provides single and group debuff effects to weaken enemies.
- **Team Pillar**: Has powerful group pressure healing ability to soothe the hearts of teammates.
- **Unique Positioning**: His strength is closely tied to the risk of survival, and his gameplay is exciting and strategic.
⚠️ **Please note**: Since his survivability is difficult to guarantee until the late game, this profession is more suitable for players who are looking for a challenge or who like experimental gameplay.

🛠️ Production instructions
The author used Joker's animations and recolored sprites to make this mod, as he couldn't create the material himself. At the same time, its balance and strength are still experimental as there hasn't been extensive play testing. The author very much welcomes any feedback and suggestions for subsequent adjustments.
📥 Installation Guide
- **Base Files**: Copy each folder to the game directory of "Darkest Dungeon".
- **Effects and Gains**:
- Open the `Effects and Buffs to be added.txt` file.
- Copy the text of the **"Effects"** section and paste it at the end of the `effects.darkest` file in the `scripts` folder.
- Like installing other class mods, run `localization.bat` in the `localization` folder.
- **Process the `buff_library.json` file (important!)**:
- **Case A (no other Mod modifies this file)**: Directly copy the provided `buff_library.json` file to the `shared/buffs` folder and replace the original file.
- **Case B (there are other mods modifying this file, such as Pitch Black Dungeon or other large modifications)**:
- Back up the original `buff_library.json` file.
- Open the `Effects and Buffs to be added.txt` file.
- Copy the text of the **"Buffs"** section.
- In the original `buff_library.json` file in the `shared/buffs` folder, find the last two characters `] }`.
- Paste the copied text after another `}` and before `] }`.
- 💡 **It is recommended to use a text editor such as Notepad++ to operate, the process will be clearer. **

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
