About this mod Machine translation
A mod that doesn't rebalance the Zealot, just adjusts the chance of him showing up to massacre your poor team.
Reduce the frequency of fanatics
😱 **Are you still worried about being ambushed by fanatics in the corridor at the beginning? ** Walking into a dungeon with your beloved level 6 hero only to have a 75% chance of being attacked by a fanatic in the first corridor is not fun at all - unless you ask for it!
If you feel like Zealots appear too often and think the odds are too high, then this mod is for you.
✨ Mod Concept
Zealots were originally a mechanism used by the game to "check" players who were using the Crimson Curse to "skip class" to pass the level. But even so, the sheer difficulty of it is often daunting.
This mod does not attempt to rebalance Zealot's difficulty, but rather aims to reduce the likelihood of him appearing when only a few heroes in your party are infected with the Curse.
**The risk still exists**, it’s up to you whether you want to take this risk!
📊 Specific adjustments
This mod modifies the appearance chance of Zealots at **medium infection levels**:
- **When 2/3 heroes in the team are sick**: the chance of appearing is reduced to **10%**.
- **When all 4 heroes in the team are sick**: The chance of appearing is reduced to **35%**.
(*Note: There are two sets of identical descriptions in the original text, which may be a clerical error. The first set of data is used here.*)
⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE
This mod **only modifies the above**. Before installing, be sure to check for conflicts with other mods you have installed that modify zealot spawn rates.

Hopefully this little adjustment will make your dungeon exploration less "surprise" and more strategic fun! 🎮
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
