Pariah Class Mod
"On the edge of that lonely grove, I beheld a sight most horrifying and repulsive. A frail-looking maiden, clad in scarlet, danced among the pillars of a cairn erected facing the roaring sea. Her bloody lips uttered terrible, blasphemous prayers, no doubt dedicated to some ancient evil pagan god; a being whose name only ancient stones could remember.
The poor girl raised her dagger to the sky; the sharp blade gleamed in the darkness. Her unfortunate sacrifice, a black goat, began to wail in the most hideous manner. The helpless animal struggled and twisted so violently that its body twisted and deformed beyond normal physical limits.
Nature itself became uneasy at this sacrilege; the cold north wind began to howl, and the waves threatened to destroy the cursed cliffs. The roars and howls of the forest beasts grew more vicious as time went on. It was as if a huge being with non-Euclidean proportions was about to break the fragile dimensions of this world.
Soon an ominous filth seeped into the air.
Severe curses began to slip into my thoughts; whispers of all evil.
I found myself starting to breathe quickly.
Obviously, I had to escape immediately before the worst happened; a decision I still don't regret.
Curiosity be damned, because I value my precious sanity. "

🎭 Welcome to my Outcast Class Mod!
But before we begin, let me clarify a few points:
- **Basic Model**: Essentially a gorgeous reskin of "Ascetic" (Special thanks to the mod author **Lemorack** for allowing me to use the **Penitent Sister** skin mod as a template! 😄)
- **No exclusive accessories**: There is currently no matching accessory set (I am still thinking of a themed set).
- **No Heroic Resolve**: Like the Dervish, she only gains a specific torture when her stress reaches 100 (see below for details).
---
🌌 Career Profile
The **Outcast**, an outcast who was banished by the Pagan Council for over-driving into forbidden ancient knowledge, functionally possesses some of the extreme characteristics of an "Occult Scholar". She can heal and buff your team, weaken enemies, mark them, and most obviously, **summon cosmic horrors to strike at your foes**.
However, this all comes with a huge price: whether it's accelerating her descent into madness through constant self-imposed pressure, draining her own life force, or worse, spreading terror onto your own teammates. 😱

⚔️ Skill List
**General Skills**
- **Crazy Ramblings**: Affects the debuff skills of all platoons, reducing the enemy's attack and hit. Every time you hit an enemy, the pressure increases.
- **Ritual Dagger**: Basic damage skill, your main source of damage. Deals extra damage to **Marked** and **Stunned** enemies, and has a chance to heal a small amount of Stress.
- **Sacrifice of Flesh**: Similar to the Mystic Scholar's "Alien Reconstruction", this is a healing skill that relies on dice determination, but it will heal **everyone in the team**. At level 4, the healing range is 0-11, but each time you heal a teammate, you apply **Bleed** and **Pressure** to yourself.
- **Prepare Sacrifice**: **Stun** and **Mark** an enemy. Move the outcast forward. Chance to cure stress.
**✨Special Summoning Ability**
These abilities call upon ancient beings, are powerful, but have a limited number of uses and can cause **severe stress** to the outcast. They can only be used at a certain health percentage, and reckless use can jeopardize your expedition as your outcasts become increasingly nervous, so use caution and use them in appropriate situations. Additionally, each use of these abilities will **significantly reduce the brightness** of the torch.
- **Call the Star Spawn**: Summons a "shambling" to attack the first two rows of enemies and apply **Corruption**. Can be used twice per battle, and must be used when **80% health or lower**.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
