About this mod Machine translation

Prevents Crimson Court enemies from replacing regular enemies in random encounters outside of the Courtyard.

No Scarlet Court Encounter

✨ Module function

This mod reduces the **spawn chance of Crimson enemies in random encounters outside the courtyard to 0.0%** at all **infection levels** in the Crimson Courtyard.

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE

  • **It does not prevent cocoons from spawning in corridors**, so you can still encounter gatekeepers at any time.
  • This mod is designed to give you **your choice** when to face the challenges of the Crimson Court.

🎮 Author's words

I really enjoyed the Crimson Court DLC, but having to deal with "Town Riot!" events or high infection levels early in the game made me want to remove the Chevaliers after my fifth encounter - their dual -40 dodge stuns and knockback bleed attacks with 12% critical chance were a real pain in the ass. And those **Throbbing Cocoons** account for nearly one-fifth of all oddball encounters.

💡 **Usage Suggestions**: If you want to explore the dungeon without being frequently disturbed by the enemies of the Crimson Courtyard and focus on the main story or other DLC content, then this mod is an excellent choice for you! It retains the entrance to the challenge (the cocoon), but removes the forced, high-frequency encounters, allowing the game to be paced more to your liking.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
