About this mod Machine translation
A minor beautification mod that modifies the borders of hero skill icons to make them more consistent with skill effects (e.g. Tomb Raider's Shadow Fade, Joker's Solo, etc.).
More consistent skill icons
🎨 **Another tiny beautification mod made by me. ** If you're unhappy that the Graverobber's "Fade" skill icon still shows up as a stun skill, or that the Leper's "Intimidate" icon looks like a displacement skill (it's not), then this mod is for you!

✨ Module function
This module modifies the icon borders of multiple hero skills to match the visual effects with the actual effects of the skills, bringing a more intuitive gaming experience.
- **Fixing inconsistent icons:** For example, the Graverobber's "Shadow Fading" icon no longer incorrectly displays a stun border.
- **Optimized visual effects:** The Joker's "Solo" and the Nun's "Hand of Light" icons have also been recolored to better match the new borders.
- **Continuous Updates:** New icon corrections are constantly being added based on player feedback and discoveries.
📦 Installation instructions
- Place the contents of the module file into the `Darkest Dungeon/heroes/hero name` folder in the game directory.
- **DLC heroes** need to be placed in their corresponding DLC locations:
- `580100_crimson_court/features/flagellant/heroes/flagellant` (Crimson Court DLC - Ascetic)
- `445700_musketeer/heroes/musketeer` (Musketeers DLC)
⚠️ Notes and suggestions
- **It is strongly recommended to back up the original icon file** in case you are not satisfied with the modified effect.
- You can selectively skip installing certain icons. For example, if you're okay with the Joker's "Finale" icon having a self-debuff on it, you don't need to replace it.
- If you encounter any problems during use, please report it in the comment area.
📝 Update log
- **Version 1.2:** Added the Barbarian Warrior's Adrenaline Rush (now shown as a healing border) and (by a player's request) the Bandit's Tracking Shot (now shown as an anti-stealth border).
- **Version 1.1:** Added the Crusader's "Holy Lance" icon, which I initially forgot about.

I hope this small change will make your "Darkest Dungeon" interface look more pleasing to the eye! Happy gaming! 😊
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
